“I believe in the power of love between the children and those who care for them, the natural predisposition of children to search for relationships, the capability of children to guide their own learning, and the reciprocal healing energy that relationships bring.”
Jeronia Muntaner Gelabert, 2017
My Mission
Acting with the conviction of my beliefs, I am committed to supporting global educators to enable the learning and wellbeing of infants and toddlers.
My Vision
Under my ongoing commitment to engage globally as an educator, I share knowledge, experience and resources with other educators. The Reinforcing Relationships: Infants and Toddlers Education in Emergency framework was created in the hope that it will empower local educators to develop their own programs of practice, in their efforts to enable infants and toddlers learning and wellbeing, in the aftermath and recovery period of a natural disaster.
My Core Values
I embrace a pedagogy that combines empathy and empowerment.
I focus on the life of educators, infants, toddlers and their caregivers, as it is lived in the moment, guaranteeing emotional support.
I empower local educators to develop their own programs of practice.
I support educators, children and caregivers to concentrate and intensify their attention to one key focus area: the relationships and interactions of the children with others.
I use the resources available at the time.
